INTRODUCTION

"Fashion is design", these words referring to the importance of design in the fashion world, says a prestigious Italian designer in the seventies. It´s clear the importance of a fashion designer´s activity testing their creativity based on the historical roots, cultural applied to technological progress and response to modern needs of protection, health, decoration and status of the human being of our time contributing to the global economy generating millions of jobs in developing countries.

OBJECTIVES

Our development of professionals of Fashion Design, with knowledge, attitudes, appropriate skills and values, make comprehensive and creative decisions, functional, sustainable, under universal accessibility criteria, environmental and social responsibility.

  • Develop project culture through costume design by design methodology, supported by academic components, production and research, thus achieving a permanent relation with the community.
  • Implement current policies and guidelines of good life in terms of technological and socio-cultural development of Ecuador, through professional skills and community workshops.
  • Foster a culture of entrepreneurship so that graduates are inserted directly into the different areas of work design apparel and accessories.
